Honestly, I began the process with much trepidation. In life, you are met with so much dishonesty and selfishness with businesses only concerned about their profit and not the customer, I felt a dentist appointment was more inviting. So I settled myself and asked the Lord to guide me, connect me with the right people who would care and have concern for what was important to me, and boy did He do that!
There are no words that can adequately describe Kellie Smith. Prior to meeting in person we spoke on the phone getting acquainted, gathering info etc. When me met in person I surprised her by hugging her when she extended her hand to greet me with a handshake. I explained that was my way of letting her know this was more than business to me. This was a partnership and I am counting on her to look out for me, to educate me, and be patient with me because I am a novice and I am nervous. It did not take long for me to realize that would not be hard for Kellie because that is what she strives to live daily. She is professional, personable, honest, patient, assessable, and had my best interest in mind all the way. Prior to the closing I met Kellie & Devon "The Smith Team" at my soon to be home and they presented with a beautiful gift for my home that wasn't random, but showed they had gotten to know me as a person.
The closing was the most peaceful meeting. I know that may sound strange, but I believe Gary who facilitated the closing at First Centennial Title was another answer to my prayer. His manner of presentation and detailed explanation of the enormous amount of paperwork put both the seller and myself at ease. It seemed like we were meeting for coffee and donuts. Lol! He made such an important appointment less daunting.
I am thankful the Lord led me to call USAA, thankful Coldwell Banker Weir Manuel is in partnership with USAA Real Estate Rewards Network which led me to Kellie Smith!

We worked with Kellie on purchasing our home. She is truly amazing!! She knows her stuff, super friendly, knowledgeable of the area and has awesome referrals! For example, when our initial loan company was coming up with extra fees, we started to feel uneasy about the process. She referred us to a new loan company (Mortgage 1) and Harry and his team were equally phenomenal. (Ended up saving us $10K!!) Kellie is super responsive, available for everything and we would recommend her to anyone! So good at what she

This is the first time I have tried to purchase a home. I was assigned Kellie Smith from the office of Coldwell Banker Weir Manual from my credit union. She is a nice pleasant and friendly person. I am not sure what wasn't working but, after two deals in a row fell through and I was out of pocket $1000 for home inspections I contacted my credit union to ask if this was normal and discuss my issues with my representative at the credit union. My representative contact the agents office and I assume discussed my concerns. During my lunch break my realtor at the time Kellie Smith called me and was very upset and demanding to know what I said. I felt like she was taking me to task for having the nerve to question the situation. This did not sit well with me and after I stewed on it a few hours I informed Kellie Smith under no circumstances will that ever be acceptable for her to verbally attack me again. Hence forth she QUIT. Now it seems she is dragging her feet about returning the $2000 dollar Ernst money (EMT) her company is holding. I only had contact with Kellie Smith and a few front desk receptionist at the office of Coldwell Banker Weir Manual. The receptionist were always friendly and courteous so, I do not want to make it seem the entire office has issues. I STRONGLY do NOT recommend using Kellie Smith at Coldwell Banker Weir Manual but, other agents at that office may be great. I chose not to take on another agent from Coldwell Banker Weir Manual office because of all the animosity I felt. Being a first time home buyer is a miserable experience in which I do not understand what, why and how come thing are done the way they are and unfortunately when I asked my representative for guidance Kellie Smith felt the need to verbally attack me my decision. If you are a first time home buyer DO NOT use Kellie Smith from Coldwell Banker Weir Manual in Plymouth, MI. Now I sit and wait to see how long and how many games Kellie Smith will play before returning MY $2000 EMT money. It's a shame that big companies like this can get away with bulling people by with holding money they should have already returned.
